After leaving our ship, an air-conditioned drive first transfers us from George Town port to our first stop: Dolphin Cove. The highlight of our stay at Dolphin Cove is viewing a family of beautiful bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat, the Caribbean Sea. After we have been fully briefed, our dolphin swim begins when we enter deep water and are introduced to these friendly aquatic mammals. The thrill of riding a dolphin belly to belly will be simply incomparable. We will get to know the animals, maybe enjoy a dolphin kiss or two. The final stop on our tour will be the famous sandbar called Stingray City for a chance to make personal contact with friendly southern stingrays in their natural habitat. Our exciting aquatic tour comes to a close with our return to the ship in the air-conditioned comfort of a modern coach. This opportunity costs $139 per person. We have broken the cost up so that you may contribute a portion instead of the entire cost.

We will be on our own exploring Nassau and all it has to offer. Our focus point is the historic forts of the island and it history (pirates). We will also be doing some beach lounging and splashing about in the beautiful Caribbean ocean of the Bahamas.

We will start by taking a scenic drive through the town of Ocho Rios, which is known for its abundant rainfall, verdant landscapes and rolling hills. Other outstanding vistas will be seen along the way, as we travel to Green Grotto Caves, for a touch of adventure and a journey into the underground. The caves are situated no more than 1 km from the spot where Christopher Columbus landed in 1494 and the fact that Runaway Caves numbers among their many former names is testament to one of the uses to which they were put in the 18th century. The caverns also provided sanctuary for the Spanish in the 17th century, later facilitated the activities of arms smugglers and were then used to store rum. Impressive dripstone formations such as stalactites and stalagmites, interconnected passages leading to larger chambers and the grotto itself with a pool of crystal-clear water are just some of the attractions that go to make this place so special. On our way back to the surface, a stop will be made at the Wishing Well, a pool into which one would do well to throw a coin, for luck, for love, for anything the heart desires. Once we return the surface, the coach will be waiting to take us back to our ship in Ocho Rios. This opportunity costs $69 per person. We have broken the cost up so that you may contribute a portion instead of the entire cost.

SEA TURTLE SNORKEL

We can't wait for our exhilarating Sea Turtle Snorkel experience at the Riviera Mayas only Sea Turtle natural sanctuary at Akumal Bay. Akumal is located 30 min. south of Playa Del Carmen and its pristine tranquil waters are no deeper than 6-8 feet deep and protected by a barrier reef where the Logger Head Sea Turtles enter daily to feed on its sea grass and are very peaceful and friendly. We will snorkel for up to 50 minutes, taking this unique opportunity of viewing the turtles from 3-4 feet distance in their natural habitat, surrounded by the abundant marine life one can encounter at the bay, such as manta rays and many exotic fish. After this unique experience we Can enjoy a white sandy beach for about 2 hours where a lunch buffet and open bar await us. This opportunity costs $95 per person. We have broken the cost up so that you may contribute a portion instead of the entire cost.
